Note: this highly purified glycitin is very insoluble in aqueous alcohol or aqueous acetonitrile; with heating, a solution of 100 µg/mL can be made, but upon cooling most of the glycitin crystallizes out, leaving approximately 10 µg/mL or less in solution.
