		THE CURRENT TIME at LC Labs is:

BEST:  Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 5.5 for Windows or version 5.0 for Mac)

• No problems with either; tied for first choice for best viewing our web site.  Pages look and act as they were intended.

BEST:  Safari ( Mac only; any version)

• No problems detected; tied for first choice for best viewing our web site.  Pages look and act as they were intended.

OK:  Firefox (version 1.0.2 for Mac and Windows)

• Very few problems, most of which we have taken into account in our site design.  Page views are sub-optimal.

OK:  Opera (version 6.x for Windows)

• Page views here are also suboptimal and spacing on pages is not according to code.  During our next major revision we plan to alter our code somewhat to accommodate the Opera problems.

• Macintosh users beware!  Opera only has v. 5.x beta browsers for the Mac that in our experience don't work at all much of the time.

OK:  Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 6.x for Windows)

• Very few problems, but page views are sub-optimal.

NOT RECOMMENDED:  Netscape Navigator (version 4.7x for Mac and Windows)

• To be avoided.  More and more problems as years go by.  This browser is dated and should be replaced with a newer version.  Page views are sub-optimal.

NOT RECOMMENDED:  Netscape Navigator (version 6.x for Mac and Windows)

• To be avoided.  This browser has legacy code issues that create problems when viewing our site.  The first problem is misreading of all the Greek symbols that we use.  Thus, microgram and milligram sizes of our products may not be distinguished.  Secondly, with this browser the price tables on our product pages simply don't appear at all.  We hope to alter our code to alleviate the latter problem in our next major revision.

NOT RECOMMENDED:  K-Meleon (version 6.x for Windows, no Mac version)

• To be avoided.  There are Javascript problems that were first noticed in our online ordering process that probably occur everywhere.  Being hailed for its small size, this browser appears to have lost the functionality required for web viewing in the size reduction process.
